If you obtain a VPS servers from us, you'll have full root-level access in 3 cases - if the server comes with no web hosting Control Panel at all, or when you select cPanel or DirectAdmin during the order process. In the first case, you will be able to modify any part of the system via a Secure Shell console, while in the second, you'll still be able to use SSH to connect and to make modifications, still you'll also have a graphical interface accessible to manage your online content and almost all of the system settings. The root access makes our virtual server plans an excellent choice if you wish to run any software that you can't set up in a regular shared hosting account. With the last Control Panel option - Hepsia, you'll be able to connect by way of SSH and to manage the content on your hosting server, but the root access privileges are more restricted.

You will have full root-level access to your dedicated server no matter which package you choose during the signup process, as long as the server is provided with cPanel or DirectAdmin, or with no web hosting Control Panel at all. In all of these 3 cases, you'll be able to modify any part of the software environment in any way you find fit, which makes our server packages ideal for multi-media applications with specific requirements that can't be covered when you use a shared hosting account. The difference between these options is that when you use cPanel or DirectAdmin, you will have a web-based graphical interface to take care of many different server-side options and any site content that you create or upload, while if you order the server devoid of Control Panel, you'll have to do everything with a Secure Shell console or to install a Control Panel of your own liking, if it is compatible with the OS which you've selected during the registration process. With the third Control Panel option that you are able to choose on the order page - Hepsia, the root access will be restricted.
