Varnish in Web Hosting
Varnish is available as an optional upgrade with all our web hosting plans. You can add it to your account via the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, which is available with all shared packages and you’ll get a pretty simple-to-use interface, which will give you full control over the data caching system. Using 1-click fast-access controls, you can restart or shut down any of the instances, in other words – Varnish will no longer work for a specific site. You can also view a detailed log or delete the cache associated with any of the sites. When you add Varnish to your web hosting plan, you will be able to select the total amount of memory that will be at your disposal for caching purposes and the number of the websites that will use Varnish. You can always get more memory in increments of 32 MB and, for maximum performance, you can allocate a dedicated IP address to the websites that will use Varnish. This will permit you to get the most out of your websites and to have plenty of happy users.
Varnish in Semi-dedicated Servers
Varnish is included by default with all semi-dedicated hosting plans that we offer and you can use it for load balancing purposes. It’s available in your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. The Varnish platform comes with 64 megabytes of system memory for cached data storing purposes and you can use it with any website that you host in your account. In case you’re in need of more than that, you can increase the memory allocation. The memory itself is available in increments of 32 megabytes through the Upgrades section of the Control Panel. The very same section will allow you to add more instances too, if you would like to use the Varnish caching platform with more websites. The two upgrades can be added independently – you can cache the content of one large-scale site or use several different Internet sites with the default memory allocation. You can get the most out of the Varnish platform in case you use a dedicated IP address and you can get one with your semi-dedicated server package as well. Hepsia will give you complete control over the platform and, with no more than one single click of the mouse, you’ll be able to clear the cache, to see a system log file or to restart an instance.
Varnish in VPS Servers
You can use Varnish with all our VPS server plans at no extra charge, as the platform is pre-installed and is included by default. The sole condition is that the server must come with the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, via which you will be able to activate Varnish for any of your websites with only a couple of mouse clicks. Each plan features a different amount of memory for caching purposes, but you will have minimum several hundred MB, which is quite sufficient even for several large-sized websites. Soon after you enable Varnish, it’ll begin caching the content that your website visitors browse, so you will notice the considerably faster webpage load times and the less load on the Virtual Private Server very soon. The Varnish platform will permit you to use a less high-priced virtual machine, as you will not need that many resources to sustain the proper operation of your Internet sites even if you have high-demand websites with lots of visitors. Best results are accomplished if the websites that use Varnish also use a dedicated IP.
Varnish in Dedicated Servers
If you order a dedicated server with the Hepsia Control Panel, you’ll get the Varnish caching platform at no extra fee and you will exert full control over it through an exceptionally user-friendly GUI – you will be able to start, to discontinue or to restart an instance, to check a comprehensive system log, to delete the cached data for any website and much more. The Varnish platform will have several gigabytes of system memory at its disposal, so even if you have large-sized sites with many visitors, you’ll notice the substantially better web page loading times and the lowered load on your dedicated machine. This will happen shortly after you begin using the Varnish platform, as it will require a certain amount of time to cache the content that visitors open. You can take full advantage of the platform’s potential if the Internet sites that are using it also use a dedicated IP, but due to the fact that your server comes with a couple of IP addresses by default, you won’t need to pay anything on top of the monthly charge for the server itself.
